For outstanding work on the Dr. Scholl's Internet safety presentation, our
spotlight is on volunteers Kathleen and Betsy from The Revere Group, and
Carla from PricewatershouseCoopers. Kathleen, Betsy and Carla helped TECH
CORPS Illinois successfully deliver the Dr. Scholl's/National Center for
Missing and Exploited Children Internet Safety presentations at the Chicago
Public Schools' Principal's Technology Conference.
Kathleen, Betsy and Carla coordinated with the CPS Learning Technologies
Office, prepared the presentation, made endless copies of the presentation
and gave four workshops representing TECH CORPS Illinois . With their
initiative, involvement and time, TECH CORPS Illinois was able to bring to
the attention of CPS principals an overview of Internet hazards and safety
issues with strategies and resources for coping with them.
Kathleen, Betsy and Carla did a great job and went beyond the call of duty
to make this a success.
